Mill City FC 2018 Summer Camp

Mill City Summer camp is designed to accelerate individual player development and confidence on the soccer field. Sessions are available for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players U6-U18. Each session will be designed and run by Mill City Director of Coaching and United States Youth Futsal Youth National Team Head Coach, Jeff Lamy. "Our goal at Mill City is to educate, challenge, and develop players in a safe, structured, and positive environment!"
Players will learn new skill moves each day, and also learn how to apply them in a game setting. The primary focus of this clinic is to work with players in the following area:
- Technical – ball mastery
- Tactical – understanding of the game
- Physical – speed, agility, power
- Mentality – self confidence
When players finish this camp they will be more confident in their dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting skills.

Q) What does my child need to bring to camp?
A) Athletic clothes, cleats/sneakers, shin guards, water bottle (water will be provided), sun block (will be provided, but you may want to bring your own), and lunch (full day players only).
Q) My child does not want to be put into a group with younger/older players, how do you determine which group they will be in?
A) On the first day of camp players will be grouped by age, and throughout the day groups will be re-organized and players will be grouped by skill level.
Q) My child is attending camp with one of their friends, can they be paired up together?
Q) What happens if there is severe weather?
A) Safety is our top priority! In the event there is severe weather all players will take shelter for 30 minutes, if the severe weather continues players will be able to call home. If we need to cancel before lunch we will use our Friday "make up" day.
Q) What is a typical day like?
A) 8:45am-9am: Players arrive to the field
9am-10am: Players will do warm-ups and agility/balance/coordination exercises
10am-11:30am: Technical session
1pm-2:30pm: Tactical session
3:30pm: Players must be picked up
