Q Why is futsal part of your outdoor program?

A Futsal is the only indoor game sanctioned by FIFA and is recognized as the best option for player development. It is especially great for improving speed of play, technical skills, decision-making and fitness. Our goal at Mill City is to develop technical and tactical players who are confident on the ball and in tight spaces. Once you experience futsal, you will see why players such as Pele, Messi, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Marta, Iniesta & Xavi all credit futsal for much of their skill development.

Q Can I sign up for a futsal team even if I don't play on an outdoor team?

A Absolutely! Mill City welcomes any player who is interested in learning futsal from the best! Our Director of Coaching Jeff Lamy is also the Director of Coaching for Massachusetts Futsal Association, United States Youth Futsal National Team Coach, and has recently coached the United States teams in Canada and Colombia.
